How To set up instant WhatsApp greeting messaging

1 . To Create a Message template with one variable and submit it for approval, in your Interakt portal, go to “Templates” and click on “Create New”

2 . Give a unique Template Name, Choose the Category as Marketing, and Choose your desired Language, Provide a Header for the message content. (If you wish to send the message in your own native language, ensure to capture the lead name in the same language in HelloLeads CRM)

3 . Write the message content in the Body, use only one variable {{1}}, where the Name will be passed from HelloLeads CRM.

4 . Once you have drafted the message, Submit it for Approval. Only Approved template messages can be used to send automated greeting WhatsApp messages.

5 . Once the template is approved, wait for 10 minutes to get it activated.

6. Meanwhile , go to your HelloLeads CRM, go to List in the Menu. For the List for which you want to setup the greeting message, click "Edit List" and enable Auto WhatsApp greeting message option.

7. A new event will be created in your Interakt account with the same name as your List, having "HLS_" to start with. For E.g: If the List name is "Phone Contacts", upon enabling WhatsApp greeting message, a new event namely " HLS_Phone Contacts" will be created in your Interakt account.

8. In Interakt, go to "Notifications" in the Interakt portal, and create a new campaign

9 . Post the template activation, go to "Notifications" in the Interakt portal, and create a new campaign.

10 . Click on "Start from Scratch".

11 . Provide the campaign with a unique name for quick identification.

12 . Select the notification type as "ongoing", and add the trigger as "After the customer does an event". Set the event name that has the list name in it and choose to send immediately.

13 . Choose a pre-approved template with one variable where the lead or customer name will be sent from HelloLeads.

14 . In ‘Set next steps after customer replies’, make required setup as per your business needs.

15 . In the Scheduling, choose Start sending to "Immediately" and stop sending to "never".

16 . Set the campaign live and view the campaign status on the Notification screen.
