Generate business leads using Instagram

Majority of the physical businesses are seeing a drastic fall in their business. However, social media marketing is getting a boom and is helping many businesses to sustain during this challenging phase. Each social media platform has its own benefits and helps businesses to speed up their promotions quickly, and one such platform that is leading this space is Instagram.

Instagram is one of the best tools to generate valuable leads for your business and to create brand awareness. I am sharing with you a few tips on how to generate more leads using Instagram.

(1) Profile bio with business page link

In Instagram, the profile bio section gives the first impression to the audience about your business. Draft a perfect bio and convey the value that you offer to the market with the USP of your product. Provide your product website or quick enquiry form link in the bio section to grab the lead details.

(2) Add contact options to grab the attention of the lead

Once viewers get satisfied with your bio, there is high chance that they may try to contact you. Instagram does have solution for this need, by adding a contact button in your profile section. This lets the audience to quickly contact with you through email call or WhatsApp as you had set. So, don’t forget to give your business contact information on your profile.

(3) Add quick Action Buttons

Action Buttons connect your Instagram profile with other online services directly; this helps the customers to quickly interact with your business right from your profile.

(4) Post description

Posts are generic things in Instagram which showcase your business. You can post your pictures and videos. Post description is part where you can describe about the posted picture or video. In post you can include hashtags which are key things to get more reaches to your post and profile. Use trending and relevant hashtags. There are lots of third party platforms available to analyze better hashtags for your post and profile.

Also add a statement “Link in Bio” at the end of your post, to guide audience to the enquiry form link in your bio, to convert the view as a lead.

Instagram allows you to promote your posts. Promoting a post increases the reach to a large set of audience. (9) Similar person search in Facebook

In Instagram, you can find your Facebook friend’s Instagram profile, if they are available. Follow the below steps to grab all your Facebook friends in your Instagram account,

  1. In your Instagram profile page, click on the three horizontal line at the top-right corner of the screen
  2. In the drop-up box , tap on “Discover People”, you will see a “Connect to Facebook” option, tap “Connect” and log into your Facebook account
  3. Once done, you will find your Facebook friends appearing as suggested accounts in Instagram do follow and gain more engagement.
