The\nname change was accompanied by a new logo designed like an infinity symbol.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.helloleads.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Meta-Logo-Animation.gif\" alt=\"\u2018Meta\u2019 morphosis of Facebook!\" title=\"\u2018Meta\u2019 morphosis of Facebook!\" class=\"wp-image-3976\" width=\"448\" height=\"403\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Announcing the new name, Zuckerberg said, \u201cToday we are seen as a social media company, but in our DNA we are a company that builds technology to connect people, and the metaverse is the next frontier just like social networking was when we got started.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the brand the name represents the company&#8217;s move further into the metaverse \u2013 a digital world where people can experience a parallel life to their real-world existence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;When you give everyone a voice and give people power, the system usually ends up in a really good place. So, what we view our role as, is giving people that power&#8221; &#8211;  <strong>Mark Zuckerberg<\/strong> <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Meta\u2019s focus will be to bring the metaverse to life and help people connect, find communities and grow businesses. Drawn from a single line in space using their own Quest technology, the Meta symbol forms a continuous loop that works seamlessly between 2D and 3D contexts.
