Impact on\nemployee\u2019s health will reflect in both employee\u2019s family and organization\u2019s\nside as well. We should follow certain preventive measures to avoid the COVID-19\nspread within organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What are the protocols that employers and employees\nshould follow to keep a safe working environment?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong style=\"font-size:19px\">Employer guidelines<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Disinfect all the areas in the office premises at\nregular frequencies (every day before the start of work and at the end) using effective\ndisinfectants<\/li><li>Disinfect the frequently used places, things, in\nthe office often and also the items received from outside vendors<\/li><li>Use of thermal scanners to monitor the body\ntemperature of the employees before entering the office<\/li><li>Provide hand sanitizer to employees, customers &amp;\nother vendors entering the office and make sure they wear a standard face mask<\/li><li>Track the travel and health history of all the\nemployees. If possible, check the travel and health history of vendors and\ncustomers before meeting them in-person<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"697\" height=\"297\" src=\"https:\/\/www.helloleads.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/coranac1.png\" alt=\"Disinfect the items received from outside vendors\" title=\"Disinfect the items received from outside vendors\" class=\"wp-image-9262\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.helloleads.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/coranac1.png 697w, https:\/\/www.helloleads.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/coranac1-300x128.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 697px) 100vw, 697px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Try to reduce the usage of air conditioners at the\noffice as much as possible. Also, use air purifiers to reduce the risk of\ninfections through air<\/li><li>Provide shifts \/ allow employees to work in\nbatches and ask them to work from office on alternate \/ specific days. (other\ndays, prefer to opt for work from home option)<\/li><li>Provide enough workspace for employees to\nmaintain social distance<\/li><li>Avoid larger meetings with 10 or more people. If\nthe meeting group is large, &nbsp;accommodate\nthe conference hall with a minimum number of people and others can connect with\nthem through online communication tools from their respective workplace<\/li><li>Avoid direct meetings with the customer\/vendor instead,\nconduct meetings online <\/li><li>Since the vaccination for Covid-19 is\navailable, advise the employees to vaccinate, as per Doctor\u2019s advice <\/li><li>When required conduct recruitment via telephone\nor use online toolsand avoid direct meetings<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"697\" height=\"297\" src=\"https:\/\/www.helloleads.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/coronac2.png\" alt=\"Use online toolsand avoid direct meetings\" title=\"Use online toolsand avoid direct meetings\" class=\"wp-image-9263\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.helloleads.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/coronac2.png 697w, https:\/\/www.helloleads.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/coronac2-300x128.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 697px) 100vw, 697px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Keep employees updated on the current status\nand recommendations periodically issued by the government and health organizations<\/li><li>Train the employees to keep up good personal\nhygiene (i.e. healthy food habits, consuming plenty of water, boost up the\nimmunity, follow regular exercise and meditation, keep themselves and the\nsurrounding clean)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only the employers but also the employees\nshould take responsibilities to avoid Covid-19 spread in the work environment. Employees\nshould take care of their hygiene and should keep their workplace clean and\nsafe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong style=\"font-size:19px\">Employee\nguidelines<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Wear mask inside and outside the office and\nalso during the transit<\/li><li>Wash your hands often with soap and &nbsp;use alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contain\nat least 60% alcohol. (Recommended to wash your hands every 1 hour)<\/li><li>Disinfect your working place before starting\nthe work and before leaving the office<\/li><li>Maintain social distancing and avoid physical\ntouch with other employees, customers, and vendors<\/li><li>Avoid crowding at one place and have group\nlunch<\/li><li>Disinfect toilets seats after every single-use<\/li><li>Microwave outside foods for 2 minutes before\nconsumption<\/li><li>If you are unwell, kindly inform the\norganization and visit the doctor immediately. If you or your family members are\nreported to have COVID-19, kindly stay at home to avoid the spread and get back\nto work after complete recovery<\/li><li>Update your travel history to the organization\nregularly<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We should be more careful than before to prevent the infection from second and third wave of COVID-19 . Awareness among the employers and employees about the new symptoms of evolved Covid-19 and its preventive measures at workplace and in public will help to maintain a stable economy of the country.
