He had extensively studied the distribution of wealth in his home country. He came to the conclusion that 80% of his country\u2019s wealth belonged to 20% of the population in 1906. His name was Vilfredo Pareto. This principle was later named after him, as it started to find universal applications. It is also commonly known as the 80 \u2013 20 rule, which can be very easily understood and applied. <a href=\"https:\/\/helloleads.io\/\" title=\"Small Business CRM\"><strong>Business<\/strong><\/a> sectors right from mining to manufacturing are using this principle to optimize the usage of resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our human mind and intellect combination is\nalways kept busy with continuous data streaming from 3 categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ideas<\/li><li>Events<\/li><li>People<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"697\" height=\"287\" src=\"https:\/\/www.helloleads.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/ideas.jpg\" alt=\"Small Business CRM\" title=\"Small Business CRM\" class=\"wp-image-9188\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.helloleads.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/ideas.jpg 697w, https:\/\/www.helloleads.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/ideas-300x124.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 697px) 100vw, 697px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>American researcher, Nicholas Butler came up with an interesting saying in the year 1931. It goes like this: \u201cThere are the few who make things happen, the many more who watch things happen, and the overwhelming majority who have no notion of what happens\u201d. According to this saying, people can be classified under 3 levels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Level 1: Achievers \u2013 People who make things happen. They have a flexible approach to learning from every experience they encounter. They are always in the midst of ideas and surround themselves with similar people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Level 2: Onlookers \u2013 People who watch things\nhappen. They are experts in cramming knowledge about events and its intricate\ndetails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Level 3: Gossipers \u2013 People who may be\nblissfully ignorant of what is happening.&nbsp;\nThey tend to spend most of their time in discussing about people, which\nis hardly beneficial to anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our available time of 24 hours is distributed\namong the three levels, according to one\u2019s own choices. The valuable currency\nof time remains the same for all. It is one such currency, which can never get\ndevalued. To start with, it may be a good idea to self-assess on how much we\ntend to spend on each level, every day. This will become a starting point for\nfuture improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>The key element in accomplishing the required\ngoals in lesser time is to prioritize the tasks.
