We have been to many events, exhibitions, and trade shows<\/a><\/strong>. We always wondered why the visitor registration process has not been handled the way it should be. In most of the events, either there is a long queue or a longer time at registration desks for on-the-spot registrations. Or locating the badges goes into a loop for people with pre-registration. And this is not the way to make a good first impression with your visitors in any event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During one of the major conferences on Information Technology, the registration process was broken and not effective at all. We have been to a Healthcare Expo and the visitor registration process was not there at all. One of the recent machine tool expos ran out of paper-based registration forms right at the start of the expo at 10 am itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are surprised that many event organizers either pay less attention to the visitor registration process or do not use proper tools or technologies. Many times the registration process is left to people who are free, left to their own course and destiny. The end result is a bad experience for visitors and a lack of well-qualified information for organizers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the objective of organizing exhibitions and trade shows? It is to benefit visitors and exhibitors and provide opportunities for people to meet and talk to each other. The objective of organizing exhibitions and trade shows is to help find products and services for visitors and to help exhibitors to find prospective and semi-qualified buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an event or tradeshow<\/strong><\/a> organizer, if I do not know who all visited my exhibition, what is their profile, and which industry they belong to \u2013 there is no way I can sell or promote the next event to the same set of visitors in a compelling way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We understand organizing trade shows \u2013 be it small or big \u2013 is a project by itself and complex.
